2013 has been a year of consolidation and successful development for IDG. Following the turmoil and lack of confidence compounded by the previous government what was expected to be a turnaround in the property market following the recent change of government in Canberra is now taking place. The pent up demand from the last 5 years is now starting to look for opportunities. Bargains have already been absorbed and between now and the end of 2013 there will be significant pressure on existing stock for both lease and sale due a lack of previous development. Banks appear to be back open for business and it is hoped that valuations will start to shows realistic appraisal of negotiated sales to allow deals to happen.

Idg has successfully completed and sold 8 out of 10 projects at the Metrowest Estate over the past 4 years as well as completed a number of projects at Berrinba. Berrinba on the Wembley Rd turn off from the Logan Motorway is the next big thing for industrial property in SE Qld and we have just 2 existing buildings and one site remaining before they are all gone. idg was the pioneer developer for this region and our first 4 projects are now all sold and leased.
